  • Capacity Assessment Study of the African Centre for Rural Development & Environment (ACERDEN) by the Boston University Centre for Global Health & Development held on 14 th July, 2015
    The capacity building assessment study featured opening prayer, self introduction by the visiting research team and ACERDEN staff, group interviews and discussion, presentation of reports and relevant evidence-based documents, completion of questionnaires by each ACERDEN staff. and group photographs, among others.

  • On 6th August 13 Chairman/CEO of ACERDEN, Dr Ugwu D. S. had a meeting with the representatives from Orba Community in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State Nigeria on Micro - Credit Scheme for the Udoka Women Group Orba, in Orba Community. The aim of this scheme is to help them improve their standard of living based on their expected increase in income as a result of their increase in capital through the aid ACERDEN'S Micro-Credit Scheme.

  • April - June, 2013: Chairman/CEO, Dr Daniel S. Ugwu carried out a Baseline Study of the State and Local Governance Reform (SLOGOR) project in six (6) participating states in Nigeria (Anambra, Cross River, Jigawa, Kano, Osun and Yobe) as the National Consultant sponsored by World Bank. Dr D. S. Ugwu as been working with them for the past Twenty-Five (25) years.

  • Capacity Building and Advisory Services Training Workshop for Fadama FCA/FUGs Enugu State
    In Enugu State, the project covers the 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs). It aims at establishing at least 170 Fadama Community Associations (FCAs). In other words, each local government should have at least 10 FCAs. For the part four months Acerden CEO, Dr Ugwu D. S. with some of the staff and Resource Persons has been travelling from one Fadama Community Association (FCA) to another ensuring that the following objectives are achieved.
